Poverty Alleviation and Empowerment
This strategy calls for three societal adjustments: a shift in perspective from seeing poor people as the issue to seeing them as crucial collaborators in eradicating poverty; a change in how poor people interact with formal systems so they can have a voice in decisions that affect their lives; and a change in formal and informal institutions so they are more receptive to the needs and realities of the poor.
